Short Biography

An active researcher in mathematics with experience in both research and teaching. Currently, he is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, IISER Berhampur, Berhampur, India. He holds a B.Sc and an M.Sc from the University of Calcutta in Kolkata, India, and completed his Ph.D under the supervision of Professor Yumnam Rohen Singh at the Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology Manipur, India, focusing on real-world applications of fixed point theory, numerical approximation of fixed points, nonlinear analysis, and scientific computing. His research aims to develop new contractions, efficient iterations, and various fixed-point results in the context of generalized metric structures in these fields. Besides his academic qualifications and state-level SET exam, he also qualified for national-level exams, including GATE and NET with JRF. He has made significant contributions to academia, having served as a lecturer in Analysis and Algebra. His current research interests lie at the intersection of nonlinear analysis, numerical approximations, operations research, optimization, and the study of complex fractals. He is the author of a book chapter, a design patent, and 26 articles published in highly reputed journals. He participated in and presented more than 20 papers at national and international conferences. Being a reviewer of many reputed journals, he is a life member of the Manipur Mathematical Society, Imphal, Manipur, India, a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Hong Kong, and a member of the International Society of Fuzzy Set Extensions and Applications (ISFSEA), with Membership Number: 374901.
